Once saturated with moisture, the beads will complete the color change to pink. It's important to note that the initial color change does not indicate full saturation. The beads will continue to absorb moisture until reaching 50%RH. We recommend periodically checking the silica gel beads to ensure their effectiveness.

【Great Absorbing Capacity】: When used in an air-tight sealed container, our indicating silica gel has a general estimate of protecting up to 30 cubic ft of enclosed storage space for every 40 grams of active gel. You can easily use various containers such as T-Sac tea filters, tea bags, organza bags, muslin bags, mason jars, or women's hosiery to hold the beads and allow them to effectively perform their job.

【Easy to Reactivate】: Indicating beads have a vibrant blue color. Simply check the color of the indicating silica gel beads to see if they have changed from blue to pink. Once they turn pink, you can easily reactivate them by placing them in the oven for 0.5 to 3 hours at 200°F--250°F (not over 250°F). Actual reactivation time may be shorter depending on the condition of the silica gel beads. Remember to check the color of the silica gel beads for proper reactivation.
